Whitelist iMessage contacts (iPhone)
Choose which business contacts are archived from your iPhone.
What whitelisting does
Whitelisting lets you choose which business contacts are archived, with no extra devices or numbers. Do it after iMessage is connected and Text Message Forwarding is on. Personal phones must whitelist; business phones archive everything and need no contact selection.
Steps
- Download the Archive Intel app from the App Store, log in with your work email and the password you created on archiveintel.com, and enter your phone number.
- Tap Continue, then Allow Full Access so the app can see your contacts.
- Check the boxes next to the business contacts to archive and tap Import. To add a contact that is not listed, tap the + icon in the lower right of the Messages screen.
Android and WhatsApp
Android users whitelist inside the Archive Intel Android app (the contact selection steps of Connect Android SMS). WhatsApp uses these same selections and has no whitelist of its own.
